Katie studied Fine Art for three years at the University of Central Lancashire where she was awarded a B.A (Hons) degree for Fine Art in 2006. On this course she also studied sculpture, printmaking and photography. After University she further developed her skills by attending courses in glass fusing and slumping.

Before gaining her degree Katie did a one year foundation course in Art & Design studying Fine Art, Fashion, 3D studies and Life Drawing. Prior to this Katie received an A-Level in Art at Cardinal Newman College which added to her A* at GCSE level from Broughton High School.

Since then Katie has sold paintings locally and via the internet, taken part in craft fairs, she featured in a local magazine and has completed several commissions.

Katie specialises in modern Landscape paintings, using acrylic paints on box canvases.
